Check-in time
Our standard check-in time is set at 2:00 pm (1400 hours), while check-out is at 12:00 noon (1200 hours). Should you require an early check-in or a late check-out, please note that these requests are subject to availability at the resort and cannot be guaranteed in advance.
Airport transfer
We are delighted to inform you that as part of your booking package, complimentary combined return speedboat transfers to and from the airport will be arranged for you. This service is included to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey to our resort.
Payment and Cancellation policy
Regarding payments, a deposit of 25% of the total booking amount is required at the time of reservation to secure your booking. The remaining balance of 75% must be paid at least 14 days before your arrival date. For payments made via wire transfer, a valid proof of payment must be submitted prior to your arrival. Please note that for bookings made between 26 December and 5 January, a full, non-refundable pre-payment is required 45 days prior to arrival.
Our cancellation policy states that there are no charges for cancellations made more than 14 days before the arrival date. However, cancellations within 14 days of arrival, no-shows, or early departures will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking cost. For bookings during the period from 26 December to 5 January, cancellations made more than 45 days before arrival are free of charge, but cancellations within 45 days, no-shows, or early departures will be charged at 100% of the booking cost.
What amenities does the resort offer?
Our resort is well-equipped with a variety of amenities to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. These include a swimming pool where guests can unwind and enjoy the tropical surroundings.
We also have a spa and wellness centre offering a range of treatments to rejuvenate your body and mind.
For those who wish to maintain their fitness routine, a fully-equipped gymnasium is available on-site.
Dining options include an on-site restaurant and bar, serving a variety of delicious meals and refreshing beverages.
Guests have direct access to the beach, allowing for leisurely walks and water activities.
For families travelling with children, our Kids’ Club provides engaging activities and entertainment to keep the younger guests happily occupied.
Drone Permission
Please be aware that the entire island adheres to a strict no-drone policy, and therefore, we are unable to accommodate requests to fly drones during your stay.
However, this matter can be discussed further upon your arrival, although we cannot guarantee that permission to operate a drone will be granted under any circumstances.
Weather Conditions
The Maldives is a wonderful destination to visit at any time of the year. The Northeast monsoon, which lasts from November through to April, typically brings excellent weather and superb underwater visibility, ideal for diving and snorkelling.
From May to October, the Southwest monsoon prevails, often bringing less settled weather conditions. However, this period is also known for higher plankton levels, which attract abundant marine life, making it an exciting time for underwater exploration.
Due to the variable nature of weather, it is challenging to predict exact conditions in the days or weeks ahead. Rain showers, when they occur, usually happen in the evening. If they do occur during the day, they tend to be brief downpours quickly followed by sunshine.
Differences Between Rates
In response to your enquiry about the different rate plans, please note that "OBLU Direct" and "Book Direct & Save More" are distinct offers, each featuring attractive discounts. The "Book Direct & Save More" plan offers a 20% discount, whereas the "OBLU Direct" rate provides an even greater discount of 25% or more. This exclusive rate is only available through our official website and cannot be found on any other booking channel. Regardless of the rate plan you choose, the inclusions under the Indulgence package remain consistent.
Excursions and Watersports
As part of your stay, the rental of non-motorised water sports equipment is complimentary. This includes access to catamarans, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards, allowing you to enjoy the crystal-clear waters at your leisure.
Please note that pre-booking of activities is not available, as these are dependent on weather conditions. Our dedicated team will assist you with arranging excursions and water sports once you arrive at the resort.
Whale Shark Sightings
Kindly be informed that the only reliable location for spotting whale sharks is South Ari Atoll, whereas our resort is situated in North Malé Atoll. While whale shark sightings can occur year-round in the Maldives, these majestic creatures typically migrate eastwards between December and April.
Regarding speedboat transfers, these are available 24 hours a day and are scheduled to coincide with guests’ flight arrivals to ensure seamless transfers.
Dietary Requirements
To accommodate any specific dietary needs, please inform us in advance if you require vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, lactose-free, or nut allergy-friendly meals. Our culinary team will prepare suitable options to ensure your comfort and safety.
For guests with severe allergies, we strongly recommend notifying us prior to arrival so that we can take additional precautions during meal preparation to avoid any health risks.
Dive Centre and Watersports
Our resort is located in one of the most exotic diving and snorkelling areas within the Malé Atoll, featuring a vibrant house reef. We are pleased to offer a fully equipped dive centre on-site to cater to both beginners and experienced divers.
Resort Doctor
For your peace of mind, a resident doctor is available 24 hours a day to provide emergency medical assistance. Additionally, a round-the-clock boat service is on hand to transport guests to the nearest local medical facility if required.
Currency
We accept major credit and debit cards on the island, including VISA, MasterCard, American Express (Amex), and UnionPay cards, provided they are affiliated with VISA or MasterCard networks.
Should you prefer to settle payments in cash, we accept US Dollars (2013 series and later), Euros, and British Pounds for all additional expenses incurred during your stay.
House Reef
Regrettably, the resort does not have a house reef directly accessible from the property.
Nevertheless, we can organise guided snorkelling and diving excursions to nearby reef sites where you can explore vibrant marine life and stunning coral formations. Our team will be happy to assist you with bookings and provide recommendations to enhance your underwater experience.
Smoking Preferences
Smoking is permitted only in designated areas throughout the resort. Please note that all villas are strictly non-smoking to maintain a clean and healthy environment for all guests.
Facilities for Guests with Disabilities
While our resort currently does not offer fully accessible facilities for guests with disabilities, we provide buggy assistance to help guests move comfortably around the property.

Restaurant Pre-booking
To avoid disappointment, we recommend making restaurant reservations in advance, except for the all-day dining restaurant, which does not require pre-booking. You can easily manage your restaurant bookings through the OBLU app using your booking confirmation number as your login ID.

Our resort caters exclusively to adults aged 18 and above, with a minimum occupancy of two persons per villa (single occupancy is not permitted). What are the items in the minibar?
The minibar in each villa is replenished daily and includes a selection of beers, non-alcoholic carbonated drinks, and mineral water to keep you refreshed throughout your stay.
Honeymoon and Anniversary
If your trip is dedicated to celebrating your honeymoon, we are delighted to offer a range of exclusive honeymoon services. These benefits are valid for couples married within 12 months prior to their stay and require a copy of the wedding certificate for eligibility. A minimum stay of four nights is necessary to qualify.
During your stay, you will enjoy a romantically shaped bed decoration once, with the turndown service scheduled on either the first or second evening, depending on your arrival time.
Additionally, a romantic candlelight dinner for the couple will be arranged once during your stay.
You will also receive one honeymoon cake as part of the celebration.
A romantic turndown service featuring an aromatic bubble bath is available once per stay upon request.
